Ardmore Helicopters have a close association with Ardmore Flying School who we work with to provide theory courses at both PPL and CPL level. Ardmore Flying School is New Zealand's largest private flight training school and provides professional theory instruction in all the subjects required for PPL and CPL.

PPL courses can be taken on either an 8 week part time schedule (every Sunday) or a 2 week full time programme. CPL courses are usually run full time over an 11 week period. You should avoid having too many other commitments on a full time course. Classes are kept to a reasonable size and individual support is available to students when required. Customised theory notes are provided. We make theory training an enjoyable experience and our students regularly achieve high pass rates.
